Perfect follow-on course from our classic bread course.
Travel around the world with this new bread course designed to level up your bread-making repertoire. This course will take you from France to Italy and even as far as Japan! Learn how to make and bake a selection of bread from around the world, some very well known, others not so much but deliciously tasty, nonetheless.
This course is fantastic for those who have taken our Bread Course but also for those who love a challenge and are keen bakers who want to expand their skills and techniques. Also ideal for those of you who get excited about the science behind baking, much like our amazing chef James who will be teaching you during this class.
The class will teach you how to prove dough properly, what to look for to identify potential problems, and what equipment to use to get the best results. What seasonings and flavourings go well to make an authentic Focaccia, the secrets behind making sourdough and keeping it alive! Or simply how to guarantee that your naan bread puffs up every time (fingers crossed on this one though!)?
Here is a sample of what you will be baking during the class, and what you will take home with you.
The course will include a light lunch accompanied by one of your loaves:
No weighing up or washing up.
Lunch is included.
